Grooming Services

Dogs want to look and feel beautiful, too! With regular grooming visits, your furry friend can avoid
problems such as paw disorders, excessive shedding, skin irritations, and painful mats, among a list of other problems. For over four years, our resident grooming professional, Sharon Gaumond, has provided
grooming services to our visiting pets. Sharon has been a groomer in the Clermont/Groveland area for over twenty five years and is also a fully qualified Veterinarian Assistant. Our grooming services include:

Bathing and Blow Drying

To maintain healthy skin and keep your pet's coat clean and shiny, regular bathing is a vital necessity.
Regular bathing also helps to prevent loose hair, excessive shedding and helps your keep your pet
smelling fresh and clean.

Brush Out

Dogs with undercoats should be brushed with a regular dog brush and a special undercoat brush.
When a dog is "blowing" its undercoat, extra brushing should be undertaken. Regular brushing helps
distribute the natural oils throughout the coat and keeps the coat shiny.

Scissor Cut

If there is one part of dog grooming that separates the amateur from the professional, it is the scissoring. A finely scissored dog is a sure indication it was groomed by a professional.

Clipping

The Florida tropical weather can play havoc with a longhaired dog. Regular clipping is an easy and
effective way to keep your pet pal cool in the hot, humid heat. Clipping your pooch not only helps
prevent overheating because the insulating effect of the fur is gone, it also eliminates painful matting. A clipped pet is a happier, cooler pet.

Nail Clipping

An essential part of your pet's grooming routine is trimming your furry friends's nails. Untrimmed
nails can leave your beloved pet vulnerable to painful, broken nails and possibly ingrown nails.
If you can hear your pet's nails click against the floor, it's time to get them trimmed.

Teeth Brushing

Dental disease affects up to 80% of pets over the age of three. Regular teeth brushing will help keep
your pet much healthier, prolong their life and keeps their breath kissing fresh!

Grooming rates vary based on the size of the breed. Please contact us for more information
